PHOENIX — Phoenix Suns star guard Bradley Beal will be out for the second night of a back-to-back Monday against the Toronto Raptors with a left hamstring strain.

The injury kept Beal out of their 107-96 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday afternoon. He played just 15 minutes and scored four points and two rebounds on 2-of-6 shooting. Beal has missed 20 games this season with a plethora of injuries, one of which recently kept him out of three games early this month and late February.

Beal will now miss his 21st game against Toronto with his 12th documented injury this season. The three-time All-Star is averaging 17.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists on 50.5% shooting from the field and 39.5 shooting from beyond the arc.

Along with Beal, Grayson Allen will miss his fourth consecutive game with a left foot strain. Although Allen is integral to Phoenix’s offensive spacing (shooting 43.3% from deep this season), his injury made way for Suns rookie Ryan Dunn to resurge in the rotation and gain his starting spot back. Dunn’s energy was direly missed in the month that he was out of the rotation entirely.

Nick Richards (right ankle sprain), Cody Martin (sports hernia) and Monte Morris (low back injury management) are all probable against the Raptors.

Phoenix (31-37) needs to start stacking wins if it wants to salvage its season. It sits 1 ½ games behind the injury-riddled Dallas Mavericks (33-36) for the final spot in the Western Conference play-in with 14 regular season games left and the toughest strength of schedule in the NBA in that span.
