The six-second clip featured the words “The slimmest” in reference to Durant’s nickname “The Slim Reaper,” followed by a tag to his renowned IG handle: @easymoneysniper. Sainristil got the Washington fan on camera and proceeded to mock the losing team and one of its city’s fashion staples.
“What you gotta say though?” Sainristil asked Durant.
“Put your buffs on,” Durant said.
Buffs are what Detroit natives refer to a particular style of glasses popularized by luxury jeweler Cartier.
Sainristil earned the right to troll the losing squads, pulling down two interceptions in the win.

Durant deserved an opportunity to throw jabs too, being mocked by Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs after his game-opening touchdown run that he celebrated with Durant’s viral pregame dance ahead of Game 5 of the 2017 NBA Finals.
It was a move that would come back to haunt him, as the petty social media user Durant is took to X with the original video of his dance saying: “Have a great night Detroit.”

Gibbs and the Lions may have started the game dancing like the D.C. native, but it was Durant and Commanders who were the only one’s celebrating in the end.
