PHOENIX – Phoenix is preparing for one of the NBA’s biggest events, and fans can now start securing their place in the action during the 2027 NBA All-Star Weekend. Tickets for NBA All-Star 2027 fan events went on sale Oct. 8 and are available through NBAEvents.com. With activities spanning basketball, entertainment, music, and family-friendly experiences, the weekend offers several ways for visitors and Arizona residents to participate in the festivities.

That difference could shape how visitors plan their weekends. Rather than treating the All-Star Game as the only attraction, fans can build an itinerary around the surrounding events, including interactive basketball experiences, special competitions, and entertainment throughout downtown Phoenix.

The approach also creates opportunities for families and fans who may be more interested in the broader atmosphere than securing a seat for the main event. With multiple activities planned across several days, All-Star Weekend can become a destination experience rather than a single-night basketball trip. For Phoenix, the ticket launch represents an early opportunity to bring national attention to the Valley while giving residents a chance to participate in an event that attracts basketball fans from across the country.

The biggest takeaway is simple: All-Star Weekend offers more than one way to get involved, but fans should know which experiences their tickets actually cover before purchasing. Fans should understand one important distinction before making plans, as purchasing tickets to the fan events does not include admission to the NBA All-Star Game. Fans hoping to attend the game must pursue an NBA Experience Package or enter the opportunity to win tickets through the NBA All-Star Rewards Program. Those options are separate from the general fan-event ticket sales.
