After missing the last two games with a left ankle sprain, Phoenix Suns sixth-man Bradley Beal has been upgraded to questionable to return against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Jusuf Nurkic, who has missed the first four games of Phoenix’s road trip with an illness, will remain out as he conditions to return to play. Nurkic also did not play the two games (home vs. Atlanta and Utah) as a coach’s decision.
Beal carved out a consistent role since being moved to the bench against the Philadelphia 76ers on Jan. 6, averaging 16.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game in six games.
Nurkic, on the other hand, has fallen out of the rotation as Phoenix reportedly seeks to move off of the big man. Trade for seven-foot center Nick Richards from the Charlotte Hornets only slots Nurkic down on the rotational totem poll even more.
The Suns (21-20) take on the Cavaliers (35-6) on Monday in Cleveland at 1:30 p.m. MST.
