USC sophomore wide receiver Duce Robinson was spotted on an official visit at ASU on Friday, as reported by 247sports.

Robinson was spotted at dinner with Sun Devil coaches. He’s no stranger to the Greater Phoenix area’s eating scene.

The sophomore was Arizona’s No. 1 high school recruit in the class of 2023 and the top-ranked tight end in the country. Over his four-year career at Pinnacle High School, he caught 175 receptions for 3,006 yards and 24 touchdowns. More than half of those numbers came his senior year, snagging 84 passes for 1,614 yards and 14 touchdowns before enrolling at USC.

In his two years as a Trojan, Robinson accumulated 747 yards and seven touchdowns off of 39 receptions. He had a blossoming role this year for USC, hauling in 23 passes for 396 yards and five touchdowns. Despite it, Robinson still felt the need to enter the portal and find a new home.

Maybe that new home is his old one.

When Robinson was tearing up The Valley in 2022, Arizona State was falling apart. Herm Edwards was fired and left an absolute mess in Tempe.

Then Kenny Dillingham came.

The current Sun Devil head coach revived the program in two quick years, turning Arizona State into one of the top teams in the country headed into the College Football Playoffs.

This wasn’t the same ASU when Robinson was in high school. Dillingham boasts a top-tier roster with an ascending quarterback in redshirt freshman Sam Leavitt and elite, receiver redshirt sophomore Jordyn Tyson, that could set The Valley on fire with the addition of Robinson.

If there any words to give Robinson to think about as he contemplates his next school, in the words of Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz: *Clicks heels three times* — There’s no place like home.
