The Arizona Cardinals have unveiled their official injury report heading into Sunday’s Week 9 matchup agains the Chicago Bears.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Before the injury report was released, coach Jonathan Gannon told reporters that right tackle Jonah Williams (knee) and rookie defensive tackle Darius Robinson (calf) would be out. The Cardinals opened Williams’ 21-day practice window to return from injured reserve earlier this week after he injured himself in Week 1.
Kelvin Beachum has filled in as Arizona’s starting right tackle with Williams out. Williams was a limited participant in practice all three days this week.
“It’s a good job by our whole performance staff,” coach Jonathan Gannon said on Williams. “He’s had a long road to recovery that he’s put a lot of effort into, but they’ve done the right things with him and to get him to this point at where his health is. What he did (Thursday) was pretty good.”
Robinson was activated to the 53-man roster earlier this week off injured reserve after his 21-day practice window expired, but has still yet to practice.
Additionally, defensive linemen Roy Lopez (ankle) and Naquan Jones (thigh) are both questionable. Arizona has already lost defensive linemen Justin Jones (triceps) and Bilal Nichols (stringer) to season-ending injuries.
Beachum (groin) and cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting (neck) are off the injury report and good to go.
