“I think sometimes we talk about trying to carry things over, and it’s almost like starting over,” said Taurasi on Sunday. “We go back to the gym tomorrow, we work on some of the things that we need to clean up, and then we go to Seattle and try to regenerate this energy. That really happens at its best when you’re doing the right things on the court. I always said the ball has energy. When we get stops, if we do those things, then we can recreate this. There’s really not much carryover. Tonight, have a glass of wine, fall asleep, forget what I did today. Tomorrow, wake up, it’s a different day with the kids. There is no carryover.”
