The Arizona Cardinals are deliberating over what to do before the 2024 NFL Draft, and could keep a local product in the Valley.

“Arizona’s Jordan Morgan, one of the top tackles and projected first-round pick in 2024 NFL Draft, is visiting the [New York] Giants today after the [New York] Jets Friday, in heavy demand, visits with the Cardinals, [Denver] Broncos, [Buffalo] Bills, [Florida] Panthers, [Washington] Commanders and others, plus a private workout [with the Houston] Texans, Wilson said.”

Northwest of Tucson, Morgan went to Marana High School before heading to UofA.
As a Wildcat, the Arizona native played in 41 games through five seasons (2019-23) in Tucson.
Morgan’s name has landed mostly in the second round of various mock drafts, with others seeing him going as early as a late first-rounder. Arizona has the No. 27 (first round) and No. 35 (second round) picks, so there is a realistic chance that he could be drafted by the Cardinals.
If the 22-year-old does head to the Cards, he will add some much-needed depth to the offensive tackle position.
2023 sixth-overall pick Paris Johnson Jr. and free agent signing Jonah Williams are both presumably going to be named the starters heading into the 2024 season.
Not just scouting Morgan, Arizona also hosted Alabama’s JC Latham recently for a pre-draft visit.
The Cardinals have 11 picks at their disposal for the 2024 NFL Draft, including six in the first three rounds.
On April 25, the draft begins and it will run through April 27.
