After he signed four players on Monday and running back DeeJay Dallas on Tuesday, Arizona Cardinals general manager Monti Ossenfort is still spending wads of cash.

ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter on X (formerly Twitter) revealed that offensive tackle Jonah Williams will reportedly be signing a contract with the Cardinals.

“Former Bengals OT Jonah Williams is signing a two-year, $30 million deal that includes $19 million guaranteed with the Arizona Cardinals, per source,” Schefter said.

Standing 6-foot-5, 312 pounds, Williams was the 11th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals.

While in Cincinnati, the 26-year-old started all 59 games and did not register a statistical marker besides him recovering a fumble.

Beginning his career with some injury troubles early on, Williams played all but two games in the past three seasons.

In March last year, he requested a trade after the Bengals acquired left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. before ultimately staying another year.

With the addition of Williams, fellow OT Paris Johnson will get a new partner on the other side of him. Williams has played both left and right tackle, so it will be interesting to see how offensive coordinator Drew Petzing will line up the two given that Johnson is also capable of playing either position. Longtime OT D.J. Humphries was released earlier today, creating this opening for Williams.

So far during free agency, Williams, Dallas, linebacker Mack Wilson, defensive lineman Justin Jones, defensive tackle Bilal Nichols and cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting are all planning to sign with Arizona.

Once Cardinals news breaks, Burn City Sports will provide up-to-date information when it happens, as it happens.
