State Championship rematch

During last year’s 6A Championship, these two teams matched up against each other and Perry came out on top 2-0.

The Pumas (17-4-2) are coming off a last-minute goal against Mesa, securing a spot in the final.

Perry secure a trip to the 6A Final following last-minute goal

Like last year, the Sidewinders (14-0-1) have overwhelmed opposing teams. Through 15 games, they are averaging over three goals per game, as well as allowing just five total goals.

Entering the bracket as a top seed and being able to coast their way to the title match as they have should be commended.

When/Where will it occur?

This vital matchup is set to kick off on Saturday, Feb. 24 @ 6:30 p.m. MST at Mesa High School.

A neutral site with no advantages for either team will create the right championship environment. Only one team can come out on top and be crowned the 2024 boys’ soccer champion.

Perry possesses an oppurtinity to repeat as state champion after taking home its first-ever 6A title last season.

San Luis has been waiting for this moment since falling short a year ago. They can now get their revenge on the Pumas while solidifying themselves as the state’s top team.
