With the regular season wrapped up, it is time to shift focus to playoffs in high school soccer. AIA released the 6A bracket on Friday.
Matchups
The first-round matchups are as follows:
- No. 16 seed Boulder Creek at No. 1 seed Sunnyside, on Feb. 13 @ 6 p.m. MST
- No. 15 seed Liberty at No. 2 seed San Luis, on Feb. 13 @ 6 p.m. MST.
- No. 14 seed Highland at No. 3 seed Mountain View, on Feb. 13 @ 6 p.m. MST.
- No. 13 seed Basha at No. 4 seed Perry, on Feb. 13 @ 5:30 p.m. MST.
- No. 12 seed Sunnyslope at No. 5 seed Desert Vista, on Feb. 13 @ 6 p.m. MST.
- No. 11 seed Pinnacle at No. 6 seed Tucson, on Feb. 13 @ 6 p.m. MST.
- No. 10 seed Corona del Sol at No. 7 seed Shadow Ridge, on Feb. 13 @ 6 p.m. MST.
Favorites
The No. 1 seed Sunnyside Blue Devils (22-0-1) have put together a near-flawless season of dominating every opponent in their way.
It is tough to see anyone competing with the Blue Devils in these playoffs.

The No. 2 seed San Luis Sidewinders (11-0-1) have also been incredible this season and are on an 11-game win streak. They made it to the 6A state championship last season but fell short to the Perry Pumas (14-4-2).

These are just the top two-ranked teams. All playoff participants are in the bracket for a season and have the potiential to make a deep run.
