The Diamondbacks and Giants are playing a very pivotal two game set in Phoenix, and Arizona took game one last night. Arizona had an offensive outburst, scoring eight runs, most of which came in the first six innings. Todays game features a high quality pitching matchup. Merrill Kelly will be on the hill for the Diamondbacks, set to square off against Logan Webb for the Giants.

The Diamondbacks have won four straight, which have all been high pressure games. Arizona seems to have found a groove at the right time, and I’m riding it. The Diamondbacks money line is set at -105 and after a dominate performance last night, I’m confident they’ll take game two. I also like the over on 0.5 total runs scored in the first inning. The top half of the lineup last night hit the ball extremely well, and I can see them jumping on Webb early.
Pitcher props
Merrill Kelly is coming off of an outing where he got knocked around a little bit, but Kelly is a big bounce back pitcher. Kelly also pitches well at home. His strikeouts line is currently set at 5.5, and I’m taking the over. Every time we have taken this bet for Kelly he has soared over his line. The total outs line for Kelly is set at 17.5 and I’m taking the over on that as well. This might be a sweat, or it could crush the over, really depends on Kellys cramping. Kelly is pitching at home after two road outings, back in the desert. Cramping has been an issue due to the heat, but I think he will go six innings.
Hitter props
Gabriel Moreno has hit the ball well against Webb, with a .333 batting average against the righty. Moreno currently has a total bases line set at 1.5 and is +150, which is a play I like. I also like the Ketel Marte over 0.5 RBIs in tonights game. Marte recorded two RBIs last night and has swung the bat well recently.
