Dustin Pedroia, who attended Arizona State University, participated in six different playoff runs with the Boston Red Sox. In total, Pedroia made 234 plate appearances in October.

Part of Pedroia’s 14-year career with the Red Sox included two World Series championships, making him the perfect spokesperson regarding postseason experience.

Per Cameron Cox at 12News, Pedroia told the Diamondbacks, “Don’t tell me a young team can’t go win a championship.”

This alludes to the fact that not only did Dustin win Rookie of the Year at 24 years old, but he also won a World Series simultaneously.

The Diamondbacks have just 11 games remaining on their schedule. As of September 19th, they hold the second Wild Card spot in the National League after sweeping the Chicago Cubs over the weekend.
