According to MLB and their prospect rankings, the Arizona Diamondbacks have 4 of the top 100 prospects. Three of which are ranked in the top 20! The D-Backs showed off some of their youth last season, calling up numerous players who produced at a high level.

It seems that class of McCarthy, Varsho, Garrett, Perdomo, and Thomas was just the tip of the iceberg. This season names like Carroll, Lawler, and Pfaadt will become house hold names in Phoenix. Along with Druw Jones who should have his first Major League appearance next season in 2024.

Sky is the Limit

With Corbin Carroll getting treated like the next coming of Bryce Harper or Mike Trout, Carrolls approach is a little bit different. He is ranked 2nd among prospects coming into this season and has already shown why is the last month of last season.

Jordan Lawler is consistent would probably be the most important player on this Arizona Diamondbacks lineup. Shortstop is a position the D-Backs struggled to fill in the last half decade. Having a solid fielder and an above average bat would be huge this season for Arizona to improve.

Lawler is ranked 11th on the list of prospects and will have an opportunity to step in opening day and be a Major League ball player. With the veteran signing of Evan Longoria who would be to the right of Lawler all season at 3rd base, Lawler will have one of the best fielders in the last decade showing him the ropes.

Druw Jones is ranked 15th on the list of prospects and still have a long way to go before seeing the bright lights of Chase Field. The number 2 overall pick last season in the draft.

Brandon Pfaadt who comes to the mound with exuberance. Will possibly be that 5th starter and work his way into the rotation at some point over this season. At the bare minimum, look for him to get 1-3 starts under his belt and do some relief work. He might have a huge role as a 6th or 7th inning guy as he learns how to pitch to big league hitters.
