To no surprise, the Baltimore Orioles placed the most players in the top 100 with seven, including the number one prospect, Gunnar Henderson.

But below Henderson stands the Diamondbacks’ up-and-coming star, Corbin Carroll.

Carroll was one of three players who found themselves inside the top 15 on the list. The former first-round pick is joined by Jordan Lawlar (#11) and Druw Jones (#15).

This is the second straight year in which Arizona has had three players inside the top 15.

Additionally, players have seen their rankings rise quite a bit. Jordan Lawlar, in particular, jumped from 23rd to 11th after hitting .303 in his minor league debut last summer.

Corbin Carroll has also seen his rankings grow exponentially. From being ranked 89th in 2020, followed by 47th in 2021, and then third in 2022, there is no doubt the MLB expects major things from the flashy outfielder.

There are definitely signs of progress within the Diamondbacks organization, and in the upcoming years we very well may finally see winning baseball in Arizona.
