The 26-year-old forward has taken over as a starter this year and has exceeded all expectations. However, this opportunity may not have been there if it were not for Jae Crowder leaving the team just before the season began.

Even with Jae Crowder not on the team, he loves to make his presence felt on social media. The latest example of this came in a deleted tweet. Crowder appeared to respond to a post regarding Johnson scoring more points on Tuesday than Crowder ever did in a Suns uniform.

In the game Crowder was referring to back in April 2021, he went 8-12 from three, racking up 26 points. Oddly enough, Crowder did not shoot a single shot that was not from behind the three-point line during this game.

Although it does not appear that he was trying to discredit Cam Johnson’s performance, it is obvious that Crowder still has some mixed feelings towards his former team.
