Tonight the Phoenix Suns will face off against the Houston Rockets in hopes to move to 6-1 on the season and for their fourth win on the season. Here are the key takeaways from the pregame warmups that I saw.

Devin Booker Looks Ready For Bounce Back Game:

Devin Booker turns 26 today a time when he got a few birthday cheers from fans along with the stadium playing the happy birthday song as he walked on the court. Booker had a tough shooting night on Friday night against the Pelicans but from warmups, it seems like the 26-year-old is ready for a bounce-back game as nearly all his shots went in during warmups. Now it’s just warmups but I’m expecting a huge Devin Booker game against the 24th-ranked points defense in the league.

Deandre Ayton Isn’t Seen During Warmup

Now, this shouldn’t be a surprise since Ayton is out for a week with a left ankle strain. However, I take this as a sign that the team wants the swelling to go away for Ayton before he gets back into any individual drills. Like head coach Monty Williams says, he should be re-evaluated in a week and that looks like no practice drills until that ankle gets healed.

Tip-off begins at 6 PM between the Suns and Rockets at Footprint Center.
