
Suns starting forward Cameron Johnson had an injury scare in last night’s come from behind win against the Dallas Mavericks. Cameron Johnson appeared to be limping early in the fourth quarter on the way to the bench before trainers escorted him to the locker room.
It appears after the game that head coach Monty Williams alluded that it was just a cramp and that Cameron Johnson is going to be fine moving forward.
“Yeah he just had a cramp,” Williams said. “He was cramping up it was his leg I think so I think he’s fine I’m just grateful for that because I didn’t know what it was and then they told me he was cramping.”
Johnson was having a solid game before exited with the injury. He finished with 15 points with 3 rebounds and 2 blocks while shooting 50 percent from three. He apart of the Suns 14-3 run in the 3rd quarter to cut the deficit close entering the fourth quarter.
The injury doesn’t appear serious as he should be good to go against the Portland Trail Blazers Friday night.
