Walls joins a group of defenders that welcomes back Ryan Flood, Pape Mar Boye, Edgardo Rito, and Mohamed Traore.
The team also added Alex Araneda and Collin Smith, both having played under new head coach Pa-Modou Kah with North Texas SC in 2022. Harvey Neville rounds out the additions made to the defenders on the roster.
Forward additions Ihsan Sacko and Damian Rivera join a group that returns Darius Johnson, Jearl Margaritha, Dariusz Formella, and Remi Cabral. Cabral joins the team as a permanent fixture after contributing to the 2023 title team on a loan from MLS team Colorado Rapids.
Midfielders Charlie Dennis, Giulio Doratiotto, JP Scearce, and Emil Cuello will be aided by new additions Carl Sainte, Noble Okello, and Hope Avayevu. Sainte and Avayevu also played under Kah for the 2022 North Texas SC team.
The Rising also brought back goalkeeper Patrick Rakovsky after having his contract expire at the end of the 2024 season. He is joined by new addition Triston Henry, who won the Canadian Premiere League Golden Glove award twice during his time with Forge FC. Henry most recently played for USL team Memphis 901 FC.
