Butler has been flirting with Phoenix for well over a month now, and as the Feb. 6 NBA trade deadline approaches, the disgruntled Miami Heat star has made it known that he wants out of Miami and prefers to join Devin Booker and Kevin Durant on the Suns.

Prior to Tuesday, when Phoenix traded its 2031 first-round pick to the Utah Jazz for three future firsts, facilitating a trade that included Bradley Beal and Butler seemed bleak. But now the Suns tripled their assets and are dead set on acquiring Butler at all costs.

Another facet of this potential trade is Beal’s no-trade clause. The three-time All-Star must also agree to be traded wherever he may go. And considering that the Heat are reportedly not interested in taking in Beal’s contract ($110 million over the next two years), a third or fourth team need to come in to help complete the trade.
