According to the WNBA transactions page, Morgan Bertsch has been waived by the Phoenix Mercury. Bertsch’s release became visible on Monday, June 10.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Bertsch was involved in the Kahleah Copper trade this past offseason. The 27-year-old played in just eight games this season, averaging 2.6 points per game.
Bertsch was selected 29th overall in the third round of the 2019 by the Dallas Wings. She was later cut and competed overseas from 2019 to 2023.
Bertsch was signed by the Chicago Sky on April 2023 before being traded to Phoenix a season later.

She didn’t receive much of an opportunity in Phoenix, but her upside was shown in spurts. She showed promise putting the ball on the floor, while having decent shooting mechanics despite poor efficiency from 3-point range.
