Undoubtedly, the bar for umpires in the baseball world has been raised significantly in recent years. Whether it be automated software that tracks every pitch, of social media allowing fans to pounce as soon as a pitch does not go their teams way, umpires have it rough.

During the regular season, Iassogna was ranked 79th out of 92 umpires in terms of correct calls as the home plate umpire.
This trend has now continued into the postseason.
In Game 3, there were 14 missed calls, as pointed out by @UmpireAuditor.

On the bright side, it did not seem as if these calls were favoring one side or another.
While the Phillies may have enjoyed a slight advantage, it was well within the realm of what is typically considered normal officiating.

Nevertheless, there was one moment in the game that caught everyone’s attention—a missed call on a third strike in the top of the 9th inning, which could have potentially been a game-changer against the Diamondbacks.
Even Baxter, the Diamondbacks mascot, nearly lost his mind after this pitch was not called strike three.
