The ending of the game had Mercury fans talking as they saw the victory slowly slip away from their grasp against the Aces on Friday night. Alyssa Thomas’ missed free throws will surely be a talking point, as Mercury fans are upset with the outcome. Thomas had a chance when it mattered most, although he wasn’t able to finish the job. One thing is for certain: the Mercury fans are coming ready to support, be loud, and enjoy this WNBA Finals run, no matter what.
Reactions to Alyssa Thomas’ missed free throws:
It looked like Alyssa Thomas has never practiced a foul shot before in her life.
Way to choke game 1 of the WNBA finals girl.
