PHOENIX – Some good news for the Arizona Diamondbacks came out on Saturday as Corbin Carroll will be reinstated from the IL and will start on Saturday.

It was back on June 18th in Toronto against the Blue Jays when Corbin Carroll got hit by a pitch in his right hand. MRIs further later revealed that he had a chip fracture that sidelined him for 15 games. Getting Carroll back to the lineup is paramount for this team, as they look to head towards the All-Star break with some momentum.

Corbin Carroll’s rehab assignments:
Corbin Carroll had recently played a Thursday night Arizona Complex League game before taking live batting practice reps on Friday against D-Backs pitcher Kendall Graveman. Carroll will be taking over lead off spot duties on Saturday against the Royals. Hopefully providing a spark for this team at the plate.

The D-Backs also sent down Tim Tawa to Triple-A Reno in an according move. Tawa on the 2025 season is hitting a .200 batting average with six home runs. Tawa has filled in for Arizona after a barrage on injuries piled up in more ways than one. Although now it’s time that star Corbin Carroll to take his spot back as he will look to create a spark for Arizona starting on Saturday afternoon against the Kansas City Royals.
