Disappointingly, one of those F’s was given by ESPN’s Kevin Pelton, a grade he gave to only one other team besides the Suns. Another came from Bleacher Report’s Dan Favale, who noted it was allegedly the worst score he has ever given out. Lastly, CBS Sports reporter Sam Quinn gave the Suns an F as well — the only F he handed out to any team.

According to the reporters, the Suns earned three straight F’s due to several underlying issues, including head coach Mike Budenholzer, who has since been fired. The analysts emphasized the team’s lack of chemistry — a critical component in building a strong rotation. Despite star talent players like Devin Booker, Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal, the Suns struggled to perform as a cohesive unit.
With the 2025 NBA Draft approaching on June 25, crucial decisions lie ahead to reshape the offseason.
