The D-Backs had Zac Gallen on the mound today, and did “The Milkman”, deliver. Early on in Sunday’s matchup, he gave up a two-run home run to Wilson Contreras, but it didn’t seem to phase him. On the day, Gallen gave up five hits and only two earned runs. Gallen, turning in a start like he did in New York, is a good sign for the Snakes going forward. Milwaukee ace Freddy Peralta did a great job of holding the Diamondbacks hitters too, as he held them scoreless until the fifth inning.

The Diamondbacks also showed that they are talented in the bullpen as well, as Jalen Beeks, Justin Martinez, and A.J. Puk threw scoreless innings. Puk got the save, though these games feel like massive wins for everybody going forward for this pitching crew.
Another day, another rally started by Corbin Carroll, as he hit a single in the seventh inning, ended up at second after a balk, and strolled over to third on a Geraldo Perdomo sac bunt. Alek Thomas was one of the heroes on Sunday as he hit a two-run single in the eighth inning scoring Carroll and Tim Tawa bringing the score to 5-2.
Another clutch hit for Alek Thomas late in games. The comeback has been real for him in 2025

The D-Backs will have Monday off after an eventful weekend full of comebacks and bobbleheads. They will fly to Miami to play against the Marlins in a three-game series before heading to Chicago for their second road trip of the season.
