PHOENIX — Optimistic after its first win on Sunday, Phoenix Rising now looks for its first win at home as it faces the Detriot City FC tomorrow, April 12.

Rising forward Jearl Margaritha notched the winning goal, his first of the season. However, goalkeeper Triston Henry says it’s time to look towards the next opponent.

“… that game is done now,” he said. “The game on Saturday is the most important, so we have to put last Sunday behind us and focus on the weekend.”
Detroit City sits 4th in the Eastern Conference, with a 2-1-2 record. The club has not been able to win its past three games, losing to Louisville City FC and drawing against Birmingham Legion and Monterey Bay FC. The last time Detroit City came to Phoenix in 2022, Rising won 5-0.
Phoenix Rising and Detriot City FC will kick off tomorrow at 7 p.m. at Phoenix Rising Stadium.
