Rising stood toe-to-toe with San Antoinio FC, beating the unbeaten club 2-1. Rising forward Jearl Margaritha notched the winning goal, his first of the season. However, goalkeeper Triston Henry says it’s time to look towards the next opponent.

“… that game is done now,” he said. “The game on Saturday is the most important, so we have to put last Sunday behind us and focus on the weekend.”

Detroit City sits 4th in the Eastern Conference, with a 2-1-2 record. The club has not been able to win its past three games, losing to Louisville City FC and drawing against Birmingham Legion and Monterey Bay FC. The last time Detroit City came to Phoenix in 2022, Rising won 5-0.

Phoenix Rising and Detriot City FC will kick off tomorrow at 7 p.m. at Phoenix Rising Stadium.
