What Cardinals’ Trey McBride ranking in NFL Top 100 means for 2026?

GLENDALE – In no shock whatsoever, Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride found himself high on the NFL Top 100 list, after a career year in 2025. The 26-year-old set career marks in catches, receiving yards, touchdowns and an impressive 74 completion percentage when thrown too. All those numbers led him to be 13th on the list. However, McBride stated that he wasn’t satisfied and sees plenty of  room to grow.

After falling one vote shy of being unanimous first-team All-Pro, the former second-round pick sees a scenario where 2026 will be his best year yet.

McBride lands at 13th on the list:

He led all tight ends in receiving stats, and even against wide receivers, he looks to belong. Second in the league in catches, third in targets, third in touchdowns, sixth in yards and first downs. Last season quieted all the noises surrounding his redzone problems, with only six total touchdowns in his first three years. McBride nearly doubled that number and become unstoppable in goal line situations.

An area where he needs no improvement on is his trash talking as many of players and coaches around the league credited McBride for backing up his big mouth. Los Angeles Rams safety Quentin Lake and head coach Sean McVay had plenty of experience with McBride’s bodacious trash talk. The confidence is only amplified by his play, being able to back up his words with authority.

McBride will have to back up his words from the NFL Top 100 video, as he sees big things for himself and the Cardinals heading into year five.
