Friday night’s matchup between the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Milwaukee Brewers wasn’t one the Snakes would like to remember, as the Brew Crew defeated the D-Backs 7-0.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! It was Jose Quintana’s night as he didn’t give up a run in seven innings against the Diamondbacks. Arizona only had six baserunners total on four hits in the game.

D-Backs head coach Torey Lovullo spoke on Quintana:
“He’s got good stuff, he’s pitched a long time at this level, he knows how to land pitches. He knows what’s going on at-bat to at-bat, approach to approach.”
Arizona couldn’t seem to get any consistent offense going, and there will be multiple things head coach Torey Lovullo and staff will be sure to address. Not capitalizing with runners on base, hitting into double plays, and the inability to create constant hits in a row at the plate are just a few examples. The D-Backs squandered another decent outing from Eduardo Rodriguez, as he held the Brewers to three runs in 6.1 innings.

The D-Backs had an opportunity only being down three runs entering the ninth inning, until Joe Mantiply entered the game giving up four earned runs on four hits in 1.1 innings pitched.

Corbin Burnes, (a familiar face for the Milwaukee Brewers as well), will be on the mound for the Diamondbacks tomorrow. They will seemingly look to find more opportunities at the plate and eliminate those pesky mistakes on Saturday night.
Can the Snakes get their revenge on the Brew Crew tomorrow after their beatdown tonight? Make sure to tune in to the first pitch at Chase Field tomorrow, Saturday, April 12th @ 5:10 p.m. MST. The first 20,000 fans will also be receiving a Eugenio Suárez bobblehead!
