Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! The Diamondbacks will have Zac Gallen on the mound today, and the Snakes are hoping he replicates the start like he had in New York. Gallen, his last outing, pitched 6.2 innings and didn’t give up a run while only surrendering three hits. He matched his career high 13 strikeouts on the day too. After his Opening Day start, that brings his record to 1-1 with currently a 3.38 ERA.

On the other hand, the Orioles’ Zach Eflin is pitching today, who will make his third start of the 2025 season. He didn’t fare so well in his last appearance, as he went 6 innings pitched but gave up eight hits and three earned runs in the loss. Over his career, he has an 0-2 record against the D-Backs with a 3.18 ERA

The Orioles, who had 101 wins just two years ago, have hit a couple of roadblocks early into the season. Although they have the firepower to make some noise at any time, they have a 1-4 record in their last five games only scoring seven runs in their four losses. They had 32 runs in the first five games, but since then they started to fade away. The D-Backs have also lost 3 out of their last 4, although they have been close contests. With a key injury to Ketel Marte, they will look for other stars like Corbin Carroll to keep the consistency there.
