The Arizona Cardinals are gearing up for the 2025 season. With a ton of trades and signings already in free agency, there will be some new faces and friendly ones leading the charge for the Cards. A couple more dominoes have to fall still, and one of them is Kyzir White.

Kyzir White is now a free agent after coming to the Cardinals in 2023. Some believe that him staying put in the desert might be best case scenario for him. Despite missing the playoffs, White had a year that will he will remember, as it was one of the best seasons of his career. He recorded 137 tackles alongside 2.5 sacks, eight QB hits, and an interception.

As a captain of the Arizona Cardinals, White has not only solidified himself as a staple of the defense, but his duo with Mack Wilson Sr. was certainly entertaining to watch and come to life. It had an identity, along with chemistry. Head coach Jonathan Gannon and defensive coordinator Nick Rallis, also have a very close relationship with White dating back to their time in Philly. They would surely love nothing more to resign him and continue their journey together.
Although the Cardinals brought in Akeem Davis-Gaither on a $10 million two-year deal, that might not mean him resigning back to the Bird Gang would go out the window.
Where else could White land?
Numerous teams would love to have the services of White, as Bleacher Report’s Brad Gagnon projected others involvement, but that ultimately he would land with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers:
“With E.J. Speed gone, the Colts have come to a lot of minds. I think he’s more likely to land with a team that is more deeply in the playoff conversation. It’s a toss-up between the Buccaneers and Rams, both of whom need talent in the second level. We’ll go with Tampa because it doesn’t know when Lavonte David might fall off a cliff.”
