Sometimes it hard to tell what’s rumor and what actually has some merit when it comes to trade talks just before the NBA trade deadline. The Suns were rumored to be in talks with several team about most of their players.
Sometimes, those rumors can be true.
Turns out, once Phoenix was unable to find a trading partner to move Bradley Beal, they moved on themselves to listening to offers for super star Kevin Durant. Several teams were reportedly interested including Golden State, Dallas and Miami. And then a surprise team made a run at him just as the trade deadline was coming to pass: Minnesota.
ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania reported The Timberwolves made a late push to try and pair him with their own super star Anthony Edwards.
