Now a defensive recruit is Tempe-bound.

On X/Twitter on Monday morning, Washington State redshirt freshman safety Adrian Wilson posted that he will become a Sun Devil.

“Done, Deal, AGTG! (All Glory to God),” Wilson said.

Wilson was with Washington State the past two seasons, and played 15 games in total. The Texas native collected 53 tackles, defended three passes and forced one fumble overall. Appearing in all 12 games this year after being underutilized last season, he amassed 47 tackles along with the three pass breakups and the fumble.

While ASU and almost every other school in the Pac-12 left the conference before this season, the Cougars and Oregon State were the lone two remaining in it. Teams like Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, Utah State and San Diego State are set to join next year.

In a two-team conference with most of the schedule being non-conference, Wilson helped Washington State achieve a bowl game as the school went 8-4. The Cougars will face No. 21 ranked Syracuse this Friday in the DIRECTV Holiday Bowl in San Diego, Calif.

From Keller Central High School, the 6-foot-1, 206-pound safety was a three-star recruit ranked by 247Sports. He also had offers from UTSA, Colorado, UNLV, San Diego State, Buffalo, Colorado State, Tulane, SMU, Arkansas State and Akron before committing to WSU.

Wilson has become the sixth transfer portal addition to Arizona State since the winter window opened. Wilson, tight end Khamari Anderson (Kentucky), running back Kanye Udoh (Army), wide receiver Jalen Moss (Fresno State), kicker Jesus Gomez (Eastern Michigan) and wide receiver Noble Johnson (Clemson) have all flipped to Arizona State.
