As a way to recognize charities who have helped one million Arizonans around the state, Fiesta Bowl Charities has announced that they will donate to 22 nonprofit organizations during the 2024-25 Grant Cycle.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!From local organizations like Autism Life and Living, Inc. which helps youth and young adults with autism learn life skills to Child Crisis Arizona which aims to save children and youth from abuse and neglect, Fiesta Bowl Charities is looking to help in any way they can during this season of charity. Along with the grant awards, Fiesta Bowl Charities’ Grant Cycle prides itself in providing funds for impactful projects, seeing $32 million donated to communities statewide over the past 14 years. This year’s select group of nonprofits that the Fiesta Bowl is lending a helping hand in projects that they will impact around 200,000 people, with each having a connection to the Fiesta Bowl Organization’s three pillars of youth, sports and education.
“Our Fiesta Bowl Charities Grant Cycle is always an exciting time to present much-needed financial resources to nonprofits across the state,” Fiesta Bowl executive director & CEO Erik Moses via a press release. “For more than 50 years, this organization has been known for our charitable giving and our nonprofit partners deliver impact to their beneficiaries at deeper levels by virtue of these grants. We have seen first-hand the benefit from the programs and projects that come to fruition through the Grant Cycle.”
Last year, 478,000-plus Arizonans benefitted from youth programs, 76,000-plus benefitted from sports programs and 350,800-plus from educational programs, according to the Fiesta Bowl Organization.
In addition to what Fiesta Bowl Charities has done for Arizona, they will carry on the program “Palo Verde Fiesta Bowl Charities Wishes for Teachers” for a ninth season. Supporting teachers around the Valley for eight years so far, the program has seen close to $7 million go to 2,100-plus educators.
The Fiesta Bowl Charities strives to help the community as much as it can and to support other organizations who are likeminded in that mission, they will connect and support each other for years to come.
