The Arizona Diamondbacks are taking applications for the Los Lideres Under 40 Award. People can nominate up to five people under 40 who have made a positive impact on the Hispanic community in Arizona by going to dbacks.com/lideres. Nominations are open through July 15, and the nominee must be between the ages of 18 and 40 on September 1, 2024.

The winners will be recognized on the field as part of Hispanic Heritage Weekend at Chase Field from August 30 to September 1 before they take on their National League West rival Los Angeles Dodgers.
Last year, Nicholas Gonzalez from Chicanos Por La Causa was named the first-ever recipient of the award. His volunteer efforts focused on supporting small and disadvantaged coffee farmers from Mexico, Central America, and South America.
