After beginning this season 11-3-1, the Bears have struggled but will look to get back on track as playoff baseball approaches.
Senior Harvard commit Gavin Smith leads Basha with 35 hits, 23 RBIs, seven doubles, and nine home runs.
Smith is currently batting a .473, also leading his team. He won AIA’s 6A Player of the Year award last season and has continued to perform at an exceptional level.

While several teams are performing at a high level right now, Basha has proven to be able to compete with the state’s top programs time and time again.
Head coach Eric Albright was named the team’s interim coach during last season’s run before officially being given the title. Since being at the helm, Albright has shown why he deserves the job.
The Bears next travel to face the Perry Pumas (8-14-1) on Monday, April 15 at 3:45 p.m. MST. This is the first of three road games to round out the regular season for Basha.
