The Phoenix Suns are likely to be pretty shorthanded on the second night of a back-to-back tonight in Houston against the Rockets.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Coming off of yesterday’s 10-point loss to the Mavericks, the Suns will close their two-game road trip out of the All-Star break with both Jusuf Nurkić (right ankle sprain) and Bradley Beal (left hamstring tightness) listed as doubtful against the Rockets.
The only other name on the report is Damion Lee, who has missed the entire season after undergoing right meniscus surgery in the offseason.

Luckily for the Suns, Kevin Durant (knee) is not on the injury report after this scary play last night.

Nurkić is a new addition to the report, and it is unclear when exactly he suffered the injury. The Suns went small in the second half last night, resulting in Nurkić playing only 20 total minutes and five in the second half.
Beal has missed the last two games now with the hamstring tightness. Coach Frank Vogel said last night that it was “unlikely” for Beal to play today. Beal suffered the injury during last Tuesday’s win over the Sacramento Kings in the first quarter and did not return.
Phoenix is 0-3 without Nurkić this season, but it could be the first time we see new addition Thaddeus Young get minutes.
Could be seeing some Thaddeus Young minutes tonight with Jusuf Nurkić doubtful. Suns are 0-3 when Nurkić doesn’t play this season https://t.co/d5i94nmY1k
