The Sunnyslope Vikings (17-6) boys basketball team assembled an 80-51 win against the O’Connor Eagles (18-8) on Monday.

The Vikings lost a close one against the Boulder Creek Jaguars (17-9) just three days before Monday’s game.
This was a much-needed bounce-back victory for the team as the season comes to a close very soon.

Sunnyslope will end its regular season with a matchup against the Liberty Lions (15-10). They will look to finish the season on a strong note and make another Open Division Championship run.
O’Connor continues to struggle
After a red-hot 16-2 start to the season, O’Connor has struggled as of late. The team has now lost six of its last eight games played.
Despite recent struggles loss, the Eagles should not be slept on when playoff basketball arrives.

They are coming off a season going 16-12 and being knocked out in the first round of the Open Division playoffs by Millennium. The Eagles will look to pick it back and make a potiential deep run this year.
