Perry is still ranked as the No. 1 team in the state, according to AZPreps365.
Their play has not been as dominant as it was last season. However, the Pumas should remain a top contender for the state’s second annual Open Division championship this year.

Perry defeated Chandler just two weeks ago and will now look to complete a season sweep on Wednesday.
Chandler regresses
The Wolves have simply not been able to put it together this season.
Chander’s offense continues to display inconsistencies as they are averaging under 50 points per game and have scored under 50 in nine of 23 games.

The Team is coming off a season where it barely snuck into the 6A conference playoffs and got knocked out in the very first round. They are now winless in the division and will more than likely have to shift their focus to next season.
