In this impressive run, the Suns, now boasting near full health, have overcome 20-point deficits against the Bulls and the Kings. Notably, they have also won against tough opponents, including the Lakers, Pelicans, and Pacers.

As a testament to their resurgence, the Suns have soared from the 15th position to an impressive 9th place in this week’s ESPN power rankings. ESPN’s McMenamin attributes the Suns’ success to the offensive firepower of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal. Additionally, he acknowledges Jusuf Nurkic for his significant contributions, with averages of 12.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and an impressive 60.6% shooting from the field.

McMenamin wrote, “It’s obvious that Phoenix’s offensive firepower from Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal is fueling the Suns’ six-game winning streak, but let’s give Jusuf Nurkic his flowers for the turnaround, too. Nurkic is averaging 12.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists and shooting 60.6% from the field.”

Trailing just behind the Suns are the New York Knicks, who have secured victory in 10 of their last 12 games, placing them 10 games above .500.

Occupying the position above the Suns are the Cleveland Cavaliers, who have climbed two spots from the previous week, boasting the longest current winning streak in the NBA at eight games.

The top five in the power rankings have seen some reshuffling, besides the Boston Celtics maintaining their #1 position. The Nuggets moved up one spot to #2, the Thunder climbed one spot to #3, the 76ers made a significant leap, rising four spots to #4, and the Timberwolves dropped three spots to #5.

Looking ahead, the Suns are set for their longest road trip of the season, starting with a rivalry matchup against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday. After this game, the Suns will be on the road against the Pacers, Magic, Heat, Nets, Hawks, and Wizards.

The Suns next home game will not be until February 6th against the Milwaukee Bucks.
