Starting to find their groove, the Suns have secured victories in 8 of their last 11 games, propelling them back to 4 games above .500 and into 8th place in the Western Conference.

However, they remain determined to reach higher. Despite the accumulating momentum, the Suns acknowledge evident gaps in their roster that they hope to address before the trade deadline.

According to Senior NBA reporter Jake Fischer, the Suns are “mentioned as one of the more active teams on the trade market,” with a focus on building rotational depth behind their big three of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal.

Two players potentially on the move, as noted by Fischer, are Grayson Allen and Nassir Little.

While Little has seen his role diminish significantly, averaging 15 minutes and 5 points per game this season, Grayson Allen does have significant value, and at this point, Phoenix would be trading away one of their best shooters.

Allen is averaging career highs in just about every statistical category possible. He is leading the league in 3P% and continues to tie his career high with multiple nights of 9 made threes.

Over the past three games, the Suns have enjoyed a +66 advantage when Allen is on the court, securing wins in each of these contests.

Fischer emphasizes, “Allen has been arguably Phoenix’s most important player this season behind Durant and Booker.”

While Allen’s current value is at its peak, suggesting the Suns could take a gamble and sell high, the idea of trading away their best three-point shooter may seem somewhat nonsensical.

Stay tuned for further updates.
