For the second straight game, the Suns (20-18) only initially listed Damion Lee (right meniscus surgery), but have now ruled someone out late. Drew Eubanks was declared out just a few hours before tip-off with an illness on Thursday vs. the Lakers. Eubanks is no longer on the injury report now.

Bol had missed two straight games with a right ankle sprain suffered Dec. 5 against the Miami Heat before returning against LA. It is unclear if this injury is related or not.

Bol played 17 minutes in the Suns’ dominant 127-109 victory over the Lakers, posting six points on 2-of-3 shooting, six rebounds, two blocks and two steals. In the four contests Bol has played in 2024, he has registered over double-digit minutes in all four after not recording a game over five minutes in 2023 with Phoenix.

In these four games, Bol is averaging 8.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 16.8 minutes off the bench.

Deandre Ayton is questionable for the Blazers (10-28) against his former team after missing the last 10 games with right knee tendinitis. Once again, Portland will enter tonight with a lengthy injury report. The Blazers have been blown out by 20+ points in their last three games during a road trip in which they went 1-6. The worst of these games was a 62-point loss to the Oklahoma city Thunder on Thursday.

The Suns are 2-1 against Portland this season. They will be looking to cap off the season series by avenging their Dec. 19 road loss to the Blazers.

Tonight’s game tips off at 7 p.m. MST.
