While with the Seahawks, Carroll was at the helm as he led them to becoming Super Bowl XLVIII Champions in 2014, beating the Denver Broncos 43-8. They made back-to-back Super Bowl appearances, but then lost 28-24 to Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in 2015.
His coaching record for the Seahawks will stand at 137-89-1 after his last game in charge was in the 21-20 win over Arizona on Sunday.Â
The Cardinals have struggled mightily against Carroll since he arrived in Seattle in 2010, going 9-18-1 all-time and 0-5 in their last five against him.
Now, Seattle will be on the lookout for a new voice on and off the field.
