Clippers too much for the Suns to handle in 1st half

The Phoenix Suns have looked completely outmatched against the Los Angeles Clippers in the 1st half inside Footprint Center.

Through the first two quarters, the Suns trail 70-51, they have not led for a single second and from the opening whistle the Clippers have controlled the game.

In the 1st quarter, Paul George exploded for 17 points. Terance Man and Paul George outscored the Suns 29-20 in the 1st.

Besides a few small stretches where Phoenix has cut the lead to 12, they have looked like a much different team compared to two nights ago.

The Suns have allowed the Clippers to shoot 9-18 from deep. Meanwhile Phoenix has made just 3 three’s out of 15 attempts.

Bradley Beal is the Suns leading scorer with 13 points. He is the lone player in double digits on Phoenix’s side.
