Successful Last Season
The Bulldogs finished the season 28-8 while outscoring opponents 262-116.
Queen Creek entered the 6A playoffs as the No. 6 seed and made it all the way to the championship. However, the team did lose 3-1 to the Hamilton Huskies and finished in second place.

Despite the loss, the Bulldogs proved that they can compete at a championship level and beat anyone in the 6A
Queen Creek’s Star Players
The team’s leading hitter last season was junior infielder/outfielder Ryker Waite.
Waite had a .423 BA with 44 hits, 17 RBIs, and 21 stolen bases, including 10 doubles, four triples, and three home runs on the season. He will attempt to try and continue this dominance as the Bulldogs head into the new season.
Another returning player who contributed heavily to the team’s winning is junior pitcher/outfielder/first baseman Braden Belcastro. He finished the year with 34 hits and 40 RBIs, along with a team-high 13 home runs.

Running It Back
As is the case with all losses, Queen Creek can use their falling short last season as motivation and a learning experience for this season.
The team undeniably has the talent and coaching to make another run and should be a championship favorite in the 6A.
The season begins in about two months and the Bulldogs are a team to keep an eye on all season long.
