The Phoenix Suns are heading into Detroit this afternoon to tr and snap a three-game losing streak against the Pistons. Phoenix is coming off of a loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, where they lost 112-100. We’re going to be taking a look at our burn city best bets for today’s NBA action.

Game Lines

Phoenix is the current favorite to win tonight’s game before tip-off. The Suns have a money line set at -162, and a spread set at 3. Kevin Durant and company have struggled early in the year without two of their stars, Bradley Beal and Devin Booker. Despite both of these teams having the same record, I think the Suns are the much better team. Phoenix despite a lack of depth at the moment with two big injuries, has still played well.

I like the Suns money line today, and if you like the spread a little better, I will even go Suns -3. Phoenix needs a bounce back game to get the ship on the right path, and today is a great opportunity to do so.

Player Props

Kevin Durant has been the clear leader of this team early on in the season. Durant has a points line currently set at 29.5 and I like the over. The Suns star forward needs to carry this team with their other two stars injured. He is facing a team that doesn’t match up well with his size and scoring ability defensively.

Another points prop I like is Josh Okogie over 6.5 points. Okogie is averaging 8.2 points to start the season. The Suns small forward has a chance tonight to step up big time and potentially earn a starting solidified position for the remainder of the season and I think he will do so. Josh Okogie is shooting 45% from the field on roughly 6 shot attempts per game, and I like his over.

Now switching over to Prize Picks, I like Eric Gordon over 7 three pointers attempted. Gordon is a great three-point threat, and he has gone over that mark in 4 of the first six Suns games. The Suns veteran shooter has never been one to shy away from a three-point opportunity.

To round off our burn city best bets, I like Grayson Allen over on field goals attempted. The Suns newly acquired guard is averaging eight attempts per game, and with his increase in minutes, I think he will have a chance to shoot more tonight.
