As the Phoenix Suns prepare to face the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday morning, head coach Nick Nurse took a stand against the narrative spreading across the NBA that the Suns lack depth.

In the Suns’ recent game against the San Antonio Spurs just days ago, their depth shone through, especially with Bradley Beal sidelined.

Drew Eubanks contributed 13 points and grabbed five rebounds, Keita Bates-Diop scored 13 and maintained a +7 while on the court, and Eric Gordon tallied 7 points on 3-5 shooting.

However, as the Suns gear up to face the 76ers, they’ll need to lean on their depth even more, as Devin Booker will be absent.

Without Booker, the Suns currently hold a 1-2 record this season.

The 76ers are currently riding a three-game winning streak after their season opener loss against the Bucks.
