Dobbs, along with a 2024 7th round NFL Draft pick, were sent to Minnesota for a 6th round pick next year.
With the inevitable return of Kyler Murray and the emergence of rookie Clayton Tune, Dobbs’ days in Arizona were numbered.
Additionally, this trade comes after Dobbs was named the starting quarterback for Week 9 against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, but Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon changed his mind yesterday.
As a Cardinal, Dobbs started in all-8 games Arizona has played as they are 1-7 this season.
Furthermore, Dobbs threw five touchdowns, three interceptions, and completed 167 passes for 1569 yards while in the valley.
Now, Dobbs heads to Minnesota as their starter, Kirk Cousins, is currently dealing with an Achilles injury.
