The #Vikings are trading for #AZCardinals QB Josh Dobbs, with plenty of starting experience, per me and @TomPelissero.
It helps make up for the loss of Kirk Cousins. And gives MIN a chance… pic.twitter.com/TUEnTemakr

Dobbs had started every game this season with the Cardinals; however, this streak was expected to end in Week 9 as HC Jonathan Gannon announced that it would either be Clayton Tune or Kyler Murray taking over.
During his time as the starter, Dobbs averaged 196 yards per game, throwing five touchdowns and three interceptions. He led the Cardinals to a 1-7 record.
Meanwhile, the Minnesota Vikings, after a shaky 1-4 start, have turned things around with a three-game winning streak that has placed them near the top of the NFC North.
Although it is not confirmed that Joshua Dobbs has secured the starting job, the absence of Kirk Cousins in the quarterback room leaves the Vikings with limited options.
Before suffering a season-ending injury, Cousins was averaging 291 yards per game (2nd), had thrown 18 touchdowns (T-1st), and had a RTG of 103.8 (3rd).
Stay tuned for further updates on the trade’s full details.
