Just like the Suns, who beat the Lakers, the Arizona Diamondbacks took down the Philadelphia Phillies in a wild Game 3 showdown at Chase Field.
In what was a must-win game as the D-backs entered trailing in the series 0-2, a stellar start from rookie Brandon Pfaadt set the stage for one of the best moments in Diamondbacks history.
Eerily similar to Luis Gonzales‘ walk off base hit up the middle to win the Diamondbacks their first World Series back in 2001, Ketel Marte came through with a bottom of the ninth, one out, base hit to help get Arizona back into the winning column.

Kevin Durant has been a vocal supporter of the Diamondbacks ever since he moved to Arizona back in the spring.
